Seeking a Maintenance Planning Manager to assist with ongoing development of maintenance planning tools.
**Your new company**
This well-known State Government Organisation and one of Australia's largest Regional Public Transport is currently seeking a Maintenance Planning Manager to manage a team of Maintenance Planners & Schedulers across the State, the Maintenance Planning Manager will ensure schedules maximise available resources and access windows to the network, while adhering to the Organisations and Regulatory, practices, policies, standards and procedures used in asset and operations planning.
**Your new role**
As Maintenance Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee the management of the end-to-end planning, scheduling and delivery of the Track Geometry, Ultrasonic Rail Flaw detection testing and heavy Track Maintenance plant programs.
- Lead the implementation of Maintenance Works Management Planning and Scheduling practices and principles to team of Maintenance Planners.
- Manage the phasing of preventative maintenance regimes through implementation of optimal schedules while adhering to Engineering Standards and Procedures.
- Ensure adequate training to personnel is provided to support ongoing effective maintenance planning and scheduling and business continuity.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have a bachelor's degree Civil Engineering or a recognised certification in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling as well as demonstrable expertise in managing teams of planners and schedulers across multiple disciplines. You will also have Transportation Industry Experience, particularly in Rail and competency in JD Edwards Enterprise One.
