- BH-25884Our client specialises in Contract Packing services, manufacturing of Thermoform Packaging. Their complimentary services allow them to tailor one complete packaging solution to meet the specific needs of customers. In this position, your primary objective will be to ensure contract packing customer requirements are fulfilled on time, co-ordinating adequate levels of inventory and materials to meet requirements of contract packing projects. Working with a multifaceted team you must be organized, diligent and customer focused.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties have required information in a timely manner
- Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with customers
- Maintaining updated and accurate records of inventory ensuring materials are available when required and planning inventory requirements to achieve OTD.
- Receiving customer orders and checking against Bill of Materials.
- Tracking contract packing work orders against agreed completion times and troubleshooting any problems
- Planning and forecasting ordering of customer owned inventory items
- Placing orders on Business Units for inventory and consumables purchases.
- Liaise with Business Units, customers and suppliers to ensure materials are available in a timely manner
- Monitoring customer owned inventory levels
- Working closely with Warehousing to maintain accurate stock
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Processing invoices
- Run various ERP reports to assist customers with inventory levels
- Customer related general administration
**Required knowledge and skills**
- 3 years+ previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Strong relationship building skills
- Solid experience with inventory and materials
- Previous experience working with Oracle/JDE with good working knowledge of MS Office
- Well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills with high attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrates logical thinking and effective problem-solving approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with both customers and staff

- Pro-actively seeks continuous improvements and methods of operational efficiencies
**Desirable knowledge and skills**:
- Experience working in the Contract Packing or Packaging industries
- Understanding of production procedures
