I’m currently partnering with a large national organisation to recruit an experienced Accountant to support financial integrity, reporting excellence, and continuous improvement within a complex operational environment.
Your new role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role offers exposure to senior leaders, cross‑functional teams, and a fast paced commercial setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly financial & management reports
* Maintain the general ledger, journals & reconciliations
* Oversee accounts payable & receivable functions
* Complete bank & credit card reconciliations
* Support budgeting, cashflow reporting & forecasting
* Handle payroll accounting (superannuation, payroll tax)
* Assist with internal & external audits
* Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, GST & FBT requirements
* Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial processes
What you'll need to succeed
* Degree in Accounting
* CPA/CA qualified or working toward (desirable)
* 5+ years’ accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
* Experience with payroll accounting & compliance
* High attention to detail and strong stakeholder engagement skills
