Responsibilities
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients within the scope of practice of the Enrolled Nurse and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.
Enrolled Nurses within the Operating Room Suite work across the domains of Instrument, Circulating, and may work in Anaesthetics to provide elective and emergency care to patients across multiple specialty areas.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a board-approved qualification in administration of medicines).
Desirable criteria
* Minimum 12 months Operating Room experience within the last 3 years.
* Minimum 3 years Operating Room experience within the last 5 years.
* Attainment of Post Graduation Certificate or greater in the area of Perioperative Nursing.
* Affiliation with Perioperative Nursing Body – Australian Council of Operating Room Nurses.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.

Working Conditions
Multiple permanent full time and part time shift worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies for a period of twelve months from the date of publication.
