About the Opportunity As the Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of reception, secretarial and administrative duties essential to enable the effective functioning of the District Manager Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MHDA), MHDA Governance Manager, MHDA Manager Strategic Innovation and Planning and MHDA Business Manager. As the Administrative Support Officer, you will:
* Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to coordinate correspondence, general mail and ensure deadlines are met across the Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service and other Directorates within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
* Develop, accurately maintain, and monitor paper-based and electronic records management and tracking systems.
* Provide executive level administration support (diary management, recruitment, travel, timesheet preparation, drafting meeting minutes) for the District Manager Community MHDA, MHDA Governance Manager, MHDA Manager Strategic Innovation and Planning and MHDA Business Manager

About You Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Previous experience providing administrative support to Senior Management
* High level of organisational skills including the ability to effectively prioritise workload and meet deadlines in an environment of competing demands
* Excellent communication skills, including well-developed telephone skills, sound negotiation, interpersonal and liaison skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to problem solve, and ability to prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and draft correspondence
* Proficiency in using PC based software including advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (word processing, spreadsheets and graphics) and network operations
