About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with leaders across our Sugar & Renewables business and deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes across a wide range of roles — from high-volume operational positions to specialist corporate appointments.
You will own the end-to-end recruitment process, create exceptional candidate experiences, support visa-related requirements, and continuously look for ways to improve how we attract and onboard great people.
This full-time role is based in tropical Townsville, offering a lifestyle with 360+ days of sunshine, gateway access to Magnetic Island, the Whitsundays and Cairns, and an affordable regional cost of living.

Role Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates through various channels.
* Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and team members, providing feedback.
* Deliver end-to-end recruitment for roles across the Sugar & Renewables business
* Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies
* Create engaging job advertisements, run recruitment campaigns and manage talent pipelines
* Provide visa advice and support, liaising with immigration consultants and ensuring compliance
* Maintain recruitment metrics, reporting and compliance documentation
* Act as 2IC to the Talent Acquisition Manager during periods of leave
About You
We are looking for someone who brings -
* Strong recruitment capability across a range of role types
* Demonstrated experience with end-to-end processes
* An ability to quickly build confidence and credibility with stakeholders
* Proficiency with navigating HR systems, reporting and documentation workflows
* Experience with high volume manufacturing recruitment experience (advantage)
* A high level of attention to detail
* Experience in managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Sound judgement and professionalism in all interactions
