Job Description
A leading global HVAC company is seeking a senior supply chain leader to transform its operations in Australia. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will define and execute the national supply chain strategy, aligning with regional and global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and execute the national supply chain strategy.
* Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles to align demand and supply, optimize working capital, and support product lifecycle management.
* Oversee procurement strategies, supplier segmentation, and contract governance, including high-value negotiations.
* Direct national logistics strategy, including 3PL/4PL partnerships, inbound/outbound freight optimization, and distribution network design.
* Ensure robust inventory governance, safety stock, MOQ, E&O review, and stock integrity compliance.
* Lead transformation projects, such as ERP/Oracle optimization, automation, and supply chain analytics.
* Own supply chain budgets, OPEX/CAPEX, and drive cost-to-serve and working capital targets.
* Champion Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
* Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing supply chain team, including managers and analysts.
* Represent Supply Chain in executive forums, providing insights on risk resilience and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Relevant degree preferred but not mandatory.
* At least 5-10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably across multiple sites.
* Proven success in S&OP/IBP, procurement strategy, supplier negotiations, and logistics transformation.
* Strong financial acumen with the ability to influence P&L, working capital, and cost-to-serve outcomes.
* Expertise in ERP, Oracle, and supply chain analytics, Lean/Kaizen or Six Sigma desirable.
* Track record of strategic leadership, risk management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
