Advanced Routing and Switching Engineer Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to join our engineering team as an advanced routing and switching engineer. We are seeking a candidate with expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise routing and switching infrastructure using Juniper and Mist technologies.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure using Juniper EX/QFX and Mist cloud-managed platforms.
* Deploy and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VPNs.
* Support SD-WAN and edge routing solutions.
* Utilise Mist Wired and Wireless Assurance tools to optimise network performance.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting across deployed customer environments.
* Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, procedures, and deployments.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and delivery excellence.
Candidate Profile:
* Approximately 5 years' experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
* Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, and SD-WAN.
* Hands-on experience with Juniper EX/QFX switches and Mist cloud-managed infrastructure.
* Solid troubleshooting and support capabilities within live environments.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across project teams.
* Australian Permanent Residency or full working rights (required).
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS) or equivalent CCNP-level skills.
* Experience with Mist Wireless including APs, Wireless Assurance, Marvis AI.
* Exposure to scripting, automation tools, or API-based network integration.
