**The Opportunity**:
The Clinical Education team develops education resources and services in consultation with the organisation and the people who deliver the clinical care to the consumers. The purpose of Clinical Education Specialist role is to design, develop, partner, and deliver clinical education, through a structured training and competency program and to support the clinical growth and learning of all employees whose role requires them to provide clinical support to consumers of Newcastle Anglican.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Identify, develop, promote, and facilitate the delivery of Clinical Education via evidenced based, best practice (online, virtual and in-person), via presentations, toolbox talks and competency assessment tools drawing on adult learning principles.
- Facilitate and deliver engaging clinical education presentations (including clinical induction).
- Conduct Clinical Competency Assessments with recommendations, in alignment to Clinical Governance Framework and site needs.
- Design, develop and maintain documentation, including training guides, education calendar, catalogues, and resources to support the delivery of the curriculum.
- Source, evaluate and broker internal and external service providers to meet the clinical capability needs of People Care needs.
- Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders (internal and external) to meet clinical learning requirements.

- Thrives in a varied, fast-paced team environment.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably in Nursing), and a record of achievement in implementing education initiatives in complex health service environments including clinical programs.
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Current drivers' licence
- Working with children's & NDIS checks
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
