Lawyer Role
We are seeking an experienced Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on complex matters related to the functions and powers of the ACCC under the CCA.
You will conduct research into complex matters relevant to our responsibilities under relevant legislation, assist with investigations and court proceedings, and draft and settle legal documents in support of these activities.
To succeed in this role, you will have admission as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory, experience working effectively as a lawyer advising and guiding line areas under tight timeframes, and expertise in advising on Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, particularly in respect of merger clearances and competition exemptions, or administrative law.

You will be able to provide strategic and legal policy advice, conduct complex legal research, and develop effective solutions to challenging problems.
