**The Opportunity**:
**To service ongoing workloads and build-on our existing specialist team, we are seeking to add to our team of botanists /ecologists.**
- Field work, including to remote and exciting locations
- Vegetation mapping and related spatial data management
- Technical reporting of biological assessment and monitoring field results
**_Depending on experience and aspirations, separate and/or additional to Botanist roles, there may also be opportunities for contributions to:_**
- Environmental impact assessments and environmental management projects
- Zoological/fauna studies
- Project management
- Team leadership
- Business development and marketing
- Business strategy planning
- relevant tertiary qualification (degree minimum) in botany, ecology, biological science, environmental science or equivalent
- demonstrated familiarity with current Technical Guidance for flora and vegetation surveys
- experience in flora and vegetation assessments in Western Australia
- willingness to travel for field assessments, including to remote locations
- excellent written communication skills
- current Western Australian C-class driver's licence

- proven track record in an environmental consulting team
- the ability to lead assessments, or undertake small assessments independently
- capabilities in vegetation mapping, including the use of GIS software and spatial data management
- experience in the preparation of, or contributions to technical biological assessment reports
- knowledge of and/or experience in zoological assessments, in addition to botanical expertise
- environmental impact assessment and approvals experience
- experience in project management or co-ordination
- proposal writing and business development experience
