The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a full-time Maintenance Officer role based at Crystalbrook Riley, playing a key role in the ongoing maintenance, repairs and preventative upkeep of the hotel.
You will complete general building maintenance tasks, respond to maintenance requests and carry out preventative maintenance programs to ensure the property remains safe, functional and well maintained. Working closely with internal hotel teams and external contractors, you will contribute to smooth daily operations through clear communication, reliability and a solutions-focused approach.
This role offers consistency, routine and the opportunity to take pride in maintaining one property to a high standard. It suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, values ownership of their space and takes genuine pride in maintaining a well-run hotel environment.
The Talent:
We are seeking an experienced and capable Maintenance Officer or Handyperson with a strong practical skillset across general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance. Experience in painting, building maintenance, construction or a related field will be highly regarded.
You bring a proven ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues, supported by a sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, relevant regulations and compliance standards. An interest in energy efficiency and sustainable practices is also valued, aligning with Crystalbrook's commitment to responsible luxury.
You will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in property, facilities or building maintenance
* Practical skills across general repairs, painting and non-trade maintenance
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
