Customer Engineer Role Overview
The Customer Engineer will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer operations and satisfaction by performing installation, maintenance, and repairs of equipment.
This role requires a strong understanding of electronics and communications engineering principles, as well as the ability to work under pressure and think critically to resolve customer issues independently or escalate when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably with A+ certification, and a background in PC hardware maintenance, routers, networks, and peripherals.
Key responsibilities include performing installation, maintenance, and repairs for financial, retail, and POS/ATM equipment, resolving customer issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and maintaining company assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Relevant experience in electronics and communications engineering
* A+ certification preferred
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
* Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
* Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
* Mechanical/electrical aptitude with experience in desktops, servers, and networks
