$70,000 - $85,000 Super Full-time role with real career growth Hands-on export coordination role with a growing logistics business The Company This business is a well-established name in the freight forwarding game, with a strong focus on perishables. They’re known for doing things properly making sure goods are handled with care and get where they need to go, on time and in great condition. Their Melbourne team is growing, and they’re on the lookout for someone who knows their way around exports and can hit the ground running. The Role Based out of Epping, you’ll be responsible for managing the export process for perishable sea freight everything from booking and paperwork through to liaising with shipping lines, clients, and government departments. You’ll be right in the thick of it, making sure compliance is ticked off, customers are kept in the loop, and the freight gets where it needs to go. What You’ll Be Doing Managing export bookings for perishable sea freight Sorting out compliance – fumigation, health certs, dealing with Department of Agriculture and Home Affairs Preparing docs like invoices, certs of origin and other export paperwork Dealing with shipping lines, airlines, and internal transport teams Keeping customers updated on where things are at Making sure product quality is protected throughout the process Working closely with internal teams – warehouse, transport, customer service What We’re Looking For At least 2 years’ freight forwarding experience Experience with perishables and/or sea/air exports is ideal Cargowise experience preferred Solid communication and coordination skills Able to stay organised when things get busy Good with customers, a team player, and someone who can take ownership Why You’ll Want This Job Strong Salary super Supportive team and stable company Opportunity to build a long-term career in export logistics Hands-on role with variety, no two days are the same This one’s confidential, so if you’re interested, reach out to Cooper at cooper@people2people.com.au for a chat or apply now.
