Job Overview
This role is focused on the safe and efficient operation of material/cargo handling equipment. As a Reach Stack Operator, you will be responsible for managing and controlling reach stackers to unload, load, and manage cargo as per customer requirements within our operational yards.
You will work with a small team to ensure the smooth flow of transport through the yard, repositioning containers as needed and maintaining a clean and safe workspace using the 5S principles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Safely operating material/cargo handling equipment, including reach stackers, forklifts, and other machinery
* Managing and controlling the movement of cargo within the yard, adhering to safe working instructions
* Completing necessary documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Maintaining equipment in good condition and reporting any issues or damage
* Actively promoting a safe and healthy work environment, following the principles of Chain of Responsibility

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need to have:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment
* Specialised systems knowledge, particularly in relation to cargo handling and management software
* Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite
* A current Australian driver's licence (car) and a valid forklift licence
* Chain of Responsibility qualification and Dangerous Goods Awareness certification (desirable)
