About the roleHix Group is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Penrith, NSW.
This full-time role is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of Traffic Signals and associated electrical infrastructure.
You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our region's transportation network.
Hix is a BGIS Business and operates alongside BGIS.What you'll be doingCarry out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance on Traffic Signals and ITSTroubleshoot and diagnose issues with traffic signal systems and componentsPerform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and tasksLiaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to coordinate work activitiesEnsure all work is completed safely and to the required standards and regulationsMaintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertakenWhat we're looking forQualified Electrician with a current Unrestricted Electrician's LicenceExtensive experience working on traffic signal and road infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring diagrams and traffic signal systemsExcellent problem-solving and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamCommitment to workplace health and safetyStrong communication and customer service skillsWillingness to work a range of shifts, Inc: Day / Night / AwayWhat we offerAs part of the Hix Group, you'll enjoy a supportive and collaborative work setting, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a competitive remuneration package.
