About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Scrub Scout team at Mount Hospital. In this key role, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
\
Key responsibilities include:
\
\
1. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
\
2. Providing exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care
\
3. Supervising and preceptoring Enrolled Nurses, graduates, and students, as well as AINs/PSAs
\
4. Working as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team, managing your own work time and personal well-being
\
5. Leading successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes
\
6. Clinical and compliance auditing
\
7. Previous experience in Orthopaedics / Neurosurgery is highly desirable
\
8. AHPRA registration is required
\
9. Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the perioperative complex
\
10. Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities
\
11. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety
\
12. Participating in regular audits and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of care
\
13. Engaging with colleagues and stakeholders to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
