About the Roles
AHP1 – Provisional Psychologist: Participate in interdisciplinary teams supporting schools and preschools, assist with developing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions, work under close supervision while building foundational skills and experience.
AHP2 – Psychologist: Deliver targeted assessments and interventions to children and students with increasingly complex needs, address a wide range of issues including learning difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma, and behavioural challenges, collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals to implement proactive, targeted, and intensive interventions.
AHP3 – Psychologist (Self-Regulation Service): Contribute to system-wide strategies to enhance self-regulation in preschools and schools, work alongside occupational therapists and educators to model and deliver interventions, help develop professional learning resources and support data-driven service improvements.
