**Business Development Representative**

**about THE ROLE**:
With our business development activities expanding rapidly, we are seeking a dedicated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team at Tecala. Reporting to the Manager of Demand Generation, you will leverage your passion and persistence to identify, pursue, and qualify sales opportunities with potential clients.
You will be responsible for engaging with prospects, understanding their needs, and setting up meetings for our sales team. Your efforts will directly contribute to our sales pipeline, making you an integral part of our business development strategy.
Additionally, your efforts will be backed by our demand generation investments, including marketing and the partner & alliance team, as well as the guidance of an experienced and hands-on manager.
This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

- An effective communicator who is well-presented both in person and via the phone.
- Known for their ability to build trusted relationships from the ground up.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and assertive, with a strong desire to grow their potential.
- Experience in outbound B2B sales (lead generation, prospecting, cold calling ).
- Passionate about technology, keeps up-to-date on emerging trends and understands a broad spectrum of IT products / services.
- Excellent social selling skills.
- Adept in Internal Sales and have a proven track record of over-achieving their KPI's.
