Job Description:
The role of the Safety and Emergency Services Officer is to provide medical treatment, maintain confidential medical records, and ensure emergency response preparedness. The officer will review and approve pre-employment medicals, complete drug and alcohol testing as per Australian standards, and facilitate injury management and reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop incident response procedures and plans
* Ensure Emergency response preparedness is maintained to a high standard, including delivery of onsite emergency response maintenance training and inspections
* Debrief teams and monitor team members after any critical event
* Assist in the selection and procurement of emergency supplies and equipment
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in safety and emergency services, with experience in reviewing and approving medical reports and conducting health clinics. They will also be skilled in providing medical treatment, maintaining confidential medical records, and coordinating emergency responses.
