As a civil engineer, you will be responsible for fabricating pile cages and dealing with various foundation mechanisms for all construction projects.
The role involves handling both load-bearing and non-load-bearing welded joints of prefabricated cages. The position requires extensive experience in piling, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, check, and interpret all drawings, instructions, and documentation received from clients or authorities
* Oversee and mentor staff, liaising with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
* Manage equipment and material purchases, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
* Comply with regulatory requirements, including safety protocols and permits
* Collaborate with structural engineers to review performed designs of shoring and foundation systems
* Design, plan, organize, and oversee the construction of civil engineering projects
Requirements
* 2+ years' post-qualification experience as a civil engineer
* Experience in piling highly regarded
* Possess a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
