Purpose The Senior Designer leads the design team and work of the VCE Examinations Unit. The VCE Examinations Unit is responsible for the development and publication of a range of print and electronic materials including VCE examinations, assessor reports, and sample examinations, in accordance with VCAA style and branding guidelines, and accessibility standards. The work involves the development and publication of high-quality curriculum and assessment materials and resources to support students, educators and schools across Victoria.
The Senior Designer will lead a high-functioning team with strict security and confidentiality requirements. The role involves contributing to strategic process improvement and change management. It also involves the recruitment and management of ongoing casual and freelance staff. This role requires a deep understanding of the department, as well as providing valuable insights or recommendations to support the departments strategic vision.

Experience and qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in design or equivalent.
