Box Lane Capital is a family-backed permanent capital platform acquiring profitable Australian SMEs. We acquire businesses generating $1–3m EBITDA and hold them permanently — no fund lifecycle, no forced exit, no clock ticking.

The businesses we acquire
We focus on two primary sectors:
* Manufacturing — industrial components, specialty and contract manufacturing, building products, packaging, machinery. Own-product and contract. Defensible, repeat-order businesses with predictable revenue.
* E-commerce & D2C — established online businesses with active customer databases, recurring consumables or subscription revenue, and a proven direct channel. Trade alongside direct is a plus.
In both cases we look for cash-generative, operationally sound businesses with genuine competitive moats — not turnarounds, not distressed.
The role
As CEO you own the P&L from day one. You lead the team, drive operational performance, and grow the business under permanent ownership. You work closely with the Box Lane principals — not a distant board.
The equity
This is an equity-aligned role. You will receive a meaningful phantom equity stake in the business you run — structured to reward genuine value creation, not tenure. No capital required from you. The better you build it, the more it's worth.
Who we're looking for
* Proven P&L operator — you've run a business or a significant division with full accountability.
* Sector experience in manufacturing or e-commerce/D2C.
* Financially literate and commercially sharp.
* East Coast Australia based.
* Wants ownership, not just a salary.
