Your Role
As a Senior Project Architect, you will play an essential role in driving the design and execution of architectural projects from post DA to completion. Working closely under the guidance of a Senior Associate, Associate Director or Principal, you will contribute to project development and implementation. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, you will help translate creative visions into practical and sustainable architectural solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architectural Project Management: Manage and run large-scale or multiple small projects with support from junior staff, ensuring smooth workflow and task coordination.
- Design Development: Responsibility to resolve complex design coordination issues
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases, from post DA to construction.
- Client Communication: Assist as a point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will bring to the team
- 10+ years of studio experience in architecture in Australia
- Degree or diploma in Architecture
- Revit proficiency – 5 years minimum
- Thorough understanding of NCC and Australian Standards
- 7+ years of experience in leading multi-residential/Class 2/3 buildings
- Architect registration is preferred but not essential
- Experience in seniors living industry is a plus
