About the Role
The Leasing and Property Project Manager reports directly to the Senior Adviser, Property Services and is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the development, implementation and review of programmes and services that effectively manage the department's lease agreements and the acquisition and disposal of real property. The role provides expert advice and recommendations to the Department for Education Executive, management and staff regarding complex property and leasing matters and engages with internal and external service providers and stakeholders to negotiate complex lease, license, joint-use and other property agreements.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the development, implementation and review of lease and property programmes.
Provide expert advice and recommendations on complex property and leasing matters.
Engage with internal and external service providers and stakeholders to negotiate lease, license, joint-use and other property agreements.
Report directly to the Senior Adviser, Property Services.
Qualifications
Essential:
Nil.
Desirable:
Appropriate tertiary qualification in Property, Conveyancing, Business Administration or equivalent work and/or community experience.
Special Conditions
Successful applicant must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) before employment and renew it every five years.
Must undertake the RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead Masterclass or the online Fundamentals course, updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO6 $98,478 – $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
