SCC has an exciting opportunity for a casual Catering Assistant to join our Hospitality Services team at St Mary's Residential Aged Care Home in Raceview.

Key responsibilities
* Food handling and preparation.
* Cooking and presentation of food and ensuring on time delivery of quality meals.
* Kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
* Basic record keeping (e.g. number of meals per day, missed meals) in consultation with the Chief Cook.
* Stock control, ordering (e.g. food, cleaning products), receiving, checking, weighing and storing.
* Complying with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
What will you bring
* Demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide high quality meals.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
* Experience working in a commercial kitchen.
* Good knowledge of food safety (preferable HACCP).
* Must be flexible with start time and days (including weekends).
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively.
