We are seeking experienced vehicle body repair technicians to join our team.
Job Description
Vehicle body repair technicians will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This involves a range of tasks, including
* Masking, sanding and buffing vehicles to prepare them for paint
* Application of filler and primers to repair damaged areas
* Metal preparation for paint to ensure a smooth finish
* Spray painting using high-quality paint and equipment
* Prime and topcoat to achieve a showroom finish
* Colour matching to ensure the vehicle's original colour is replicated
* Maintaining and cleaning equipment to ensure efficient workflow
Responsibilities
* Strip and rebuild vehicles
* Remove, repair and replace damaged panels following repair procedures
* Repair dents on damaged panels using fillers
* Filing, grinding and sanding the body of the vehicle to restore it to its pre-accident condition
* Realign chassis and body frame to ensure accurate alignment
Requirements
* Strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality results
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
