Manolas Brothers Delicatessen is now looking for a skilled and professional Chef able to embrace their values and identity.
The right candidate will be responsible for: Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards ensuring compliance with the restaurant's Food Safety Plan; Assist other cooks and chefs with general preparations, in order to ensure a quick and smooth service; Train staff members for plating techniques and cooking procedures; Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, etc; Use knives skills to minimise wastage and teach other cooks how to perform specific meat and fish cuts; Deal with waiters and other staff members, to ensure food is delivery appropriately; Ensuring that the equipment, food stock, and general inventory are always up to the restaurant's standard; Making sure the raw ingredients are properly dry-stored, refrigerated, or frozen when necessary; Make fresh pasta and deserts; The right candidate will possess: At least 1 year of experience as a Chef; Ability to produce an excellent culinary and restaurant experience for clients; Extremely creative; Excellent time management, scheduling, managerial, and organisational skills; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a variety of personalities and under pressure; Job Type: Permanent/full-time Salary : $76,000 - $85,000
