We are hiring immediately a Sales Specialist - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers in the NT. This role will see you based out of our Darwin office, with a frequent travel to our mining customers across the Northern Territory.

What you'll do:

* Spend approx every 2nd week travelling throughout the NT region visiting our clients and building key relationships
* Build personal knowledge of Aggreko's new products
* Develop new customers within mining and heavy industry, promoting our power generation and temperature control solutions
* Elevate the business's customer experience by delivering expert assistance in addressing technical inquiries via the sales department
* Support our clients across the entire scope of sales - business development and product introduction, covering project design, and project/site delivery
* Formulate a technical application sales plan for allocated region, with a focus on advising clients of the breadth of our range and hybrid and low emissions solutions.
* Accelerate new products utilisation, responsible for allocated budget and growth goals
* Liaise with Aggreko technicians, and management to provide technical solutions both low and high voltage applications
* Regular customer visits in allocated region to provide excellent customer feedback

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

* A proven track record in either an industrial sales role, or in an industrial trades position
* Technical proficiency with industrial products related to mining equipment or power generation (familiarity with greener energy solutions would be highly regarded)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* A desire to grow your professional capabilities with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* Dedication to safety, quality, and customer experience, coupled with a familiarity with industry regulations and standards
* Understanding of factors critical for successful new product introduction and integration
* Basic project management skills
