The Opportunity
As the Business Development Manager you'll be the face of Quips across one of Australia's most exciting and influential liquor markets. You'll drive sales growth, expand distribution, build relationships with key customers and help grow the presence of one of the country's most talked-about emerging RTD brands.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in fast‐paced environments, loves building relationships and genuinely enjoys the hospitality and liquor industry.
You'll work closely with bottle shops, bars, pubs, festivals and event partners to grow distribution, execute activations and identify new commercial opportunities across your territory.
You'll report directly to the National Sales Director, working closely on KPI tracking, territory performance, sales strategy and business development opportunities. This gives you direct exposure to the wider business and a genuine opportunity to influence brand growth.
What You'll Do
* Drive sales growth and achieve distribution
* Travel throughout your territory to meet accounts in person, execute activations and build strong on‐the‐ground relationships with customers and partners.
* Identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities across On‐Premise and Independent Retail channels.
* Build strong relationships with bars, pubs, bottle shops, venues, festivals and event partners.
* Execute activations, sampling initiatives and promotional campaigns aligned with the Quips brand identity.
* Increase ranging, displays and menu placements through strategic account management.
* Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities within the RTD and cocktail category.
* Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting and CRM pipeline management.
* Represent Quips in market with high energy, professionalism and strong brand advocacy.
What You Bring
* Strong understanding of On‐Premise, Independent Retail and hospitality environments.
* Confident relationship builder with strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Self‐motivated and confident working autonomously across a regional territory.
* Passion for nightlife, festivals and disruptive consumer brands.
* Highly organised with strong planning and multitasking capabilities.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and CRM systems.
* Flexible to attend occasional night calls, activations and event work.
* Full Australian Driver's License required.
* Car allowance to support territory travel
