Greencross South Tamworth is both a GP hospital and small animal referral service, accepting referrals from approximately 60 regional and surrounding clinics. They offer advanced medical and surgical services that clients would otherwise need to travel to a capital city to receive.
In this role, you will lead our diverse team, including an anaesthetic specialist and experienced vets with interests in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, medicine, general surgery, and exotics. As part of your package, we provide access to the Lincoln Learning Institute's Leading Edge for Veterinarians, a 52-week course valued at over $9000, to support your leadership development.
The nursing team, many with over 20 years at the clinic, are highly qualified, holding Certificates 4 or Diplomas, with advanced skills in anaesthesia, surgical nursing, behaviour, and dog training.
Our on-site facilities include a CT scanner, fluoroscopy, high-end endoscopy, ultrasound, surgical diathermy, orthopaedic kit, and comprehensive anaesthetic monitoring. We regularly perform spinal surgeries, TPLO, TTA, JPS, pinning, plating, external fixations, thoracotomies, and provide oncology services including chemotherapy.
