* Key Responsibilities:
* Cook and manage kitchen duties to ensure high standards of quality care for facility residents, providing an exceptional dining experience within the facility.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in bulk cooking, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting, is highly regarded.
* Familiarity with working to the compliance of Food Safety Standards to HACCP level is essential.
* Strong time management and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
* Understanding of residents' rights, person-centred care, and dignity of risk is mandatory.
* The ability to efficiently manage change is critical.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook) is required.
* A Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality, as well as a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, is necessary.
* An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and Special Dietary needs is highly valued.
* Experience in Aged Care is desirable, as is a Current First Aid Certificate.
* Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset are essential.
* Availability to work weekend shifts is a requirement.
