We are currently seeking Community Support Workers - Domestic Assistants who are looking to connect, care, and make every day comfortable and enjoyable for our clients. As a Community Support Worker - Domestic Assistant, you will be assisting clients with general housework to ensure their home environment remains clean and organised. This is a role that will see you build meaningful relationships with our clients and their families.
As a Community Support Worker - Domestic Assistant, you will:
* Work with clients across the Southern Suburbs.
* Carry out domestic tasks to ensure our client's home environment remains clean and organised.
* Assist in the preparation of meals for our clients.
* Support our clients socially and domestically while creating a positive rapport.
* Encourage and promote independence and freedom of choice.

What You Need
* Previous experience working in the Community Aged Care (preferred).
* A valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicle.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to relate to the older people with empathy and understand their needs.
* Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem-solving skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
* Enjoy building positive relationships with clients and their families.
