About You:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a related discipline.
* 8+ years of experience in environmental engineering and project management.
* Background in water, wastewater, or sewage engineering (highly desirable).
* A hands-on approach with a willingness to get directly involved in project delivery, staff development and business growth
* Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
* Relevant industry memberships (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver environmental engineering projects from concept to completion.
* Provide technical certification and guidance to your team.
* Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
* Conduct site assessments, prepare impact documentation, and ensure compliance with NSW environmental legislation.
* Apply advanced modelling tools (e.g., GIS, MUSIC) to support project outcomes.
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Required Skills:
* Demonstrated ability to think creatively, apply analytical skills, and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges within an environmental engineering context.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, high-quality written and verbal communication (essential).
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in GIS and environmental modelling software.
* In-depth knowledge of NSW environmental legislation and impact assessment processes.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
