 
        
        Akooramak Care of the Older Person is looking for Direct Care Workers- to assist with the care of our much-loved residents. 
Our clients have a mix of high and low care needs. 
Our residential care service has a variety of shifts available including AM, PM, ND and Weekend shifts on a rotating basis. 
We have shifts available in our Dementia Support Unit for the right candidate.
Do you have a passion for working in Aged Care? Do you want to work in an established team?
During your day you will:
- Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living.
- Participate in the development and review of person centred care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of our residents, their representatives and staff
- Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment for everyone;
- Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurses
You will bring:

What we need from you
Your experience and qualifications for this role should include:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care- or working towards;
- Current National Police Check or the ability to obtain.
