The Role
As a Campaign Photographer for City Beach, you will be responsible for capturing the essence of the brand through visually appealing photography that appeals to our target audience. You will also collaborate closely with the social media marketing, eCommerce, and buying teams to produce high‑quality images for use across various platforms, including online and in‑store displays, social media, and paid advertising.
This is a 12‑month maternity leave contract commencing January 2026. It is open to being a full‑time or 4 days per week roster that works in with your schedule.
What you'll be doing:
* Plan, shoot, and edit fashion photography for seasonal campaigns, product launches, lookbooks, and promotional materials.
* Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts that reflect the City Beach brand and campaign goals.
* Work with stylists, models, and makeup artists to ensure the visual consistency and quality of all photoshoots.
* Manage the editing process, including retouching images, colour correction, and ensuring all content meets the brand's visual standards.
* Coordinate with the marketing and buying teams to meet deadlines and ensure all content is delivered on time.
* Identify on‑brand locations for photoshoots that enhance the visual narrative for each campaign.
* Maintain and manage photography equipment to ensure it is always in top working condition.
* Stay on top of current fashion and photography trends to keep our visual content fresh and relevant.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing and design teams to create innovative and eye‑catching visuals.
What you'll need:
* 2+ years of professional campaign photography experience, preferably in fashion or retail.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and other photo editing software.
* In‑depth knowledge of professional photography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and lenses.
* A keen eye for detail, composition, and colour.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Willingness to travel for on‑location shoots as needed.
* Knowledge of social media trends and content creation.
