We are seeking a Senior Hire Operations Coordinator to join a Melbourne branch in Tullamarine.
This is a senior operational role working closely with customers, drivers, workshop personnel and operations teams, you will help ensure equipment is delivered efficiently, safely and on time.
About the Role
Reporting to the Hire Manager, you will coordinate daily hire operations while supporting project-based rental solutions for a wide range of customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage customer enquiries, bookings and hire requirements
* Prepare quotations, hire contracts and operational documentation
* Coordinate equipment deliveries, collections and fleet movements
* Monitor equipment availability and maximise fleet utilisation
* Liaise with workshop and operational teams to ensure equipment readiness
* Support scheduling, operational planning and customer outcomes
* Assist in managing subcontract hire, transport and operational costs
* Maintain accurate operational records and system data
About You
* Previous experience within the equipment hire or rental industry
* Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational setting
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A proactive, hands‐on and team-focused attitude
