The Network are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer on a long term program of work within a Federal Government Department.
Canberra based position 6 months x2 12 month extensions.
The DevOps engineer works within a small team dedicated to building and maintaining multiple growing platforms and other cloud-based services that support the full application lifecycle.
Who we are looking for:
* Experience designing and implementing complex build and release pipelines using modern and legacy technologies to ensure reliable, scalable and auditable software delivery.
* Experience with modern and legacy coding languages and associated build processes, versioning and packaging.
* Experience implementing static code analysis and quality tools such as SonarQube.
* Experience designing and implementing secure, resilient Azure, multi cloud and hybrid cloud deployment architectures. Experience with Azure Cloud, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, security controls and deployment templates.
* Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, to deliver repeatable environments that meet availability, recovery, security and performance requirements.
* Experience in producing DevOps architectural patterns that are reusable and scalable.
o Multi-cloud, hybrid and legacy build and release architecture,
o Container based and Kubernetes delivery models, and
o Balance functional and non-functional requirements and manage associated risks.
