About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Audio-Visual Systems Integrator to join our team in Brisbane. This full-time position is ideal for an entry-level or early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in the AV industry. Working closely with experienced AV designers and project teams, you will contribute to the delivery of video conferencing and communication solutions for a diverse client base.
Initially, this position will focus on administrative and coordination tasks, including quoting, estimating, and supplier engagement. Over time, you will be supported through mentorship, internal frameworks, and external training to develop your technical design skills and progress into more complex project work.
Nature of position: Full‐Time
Location: Brisbane, QLD
Key Responsibilities
* Support senior AV integrators and designers with administrative and coordination tasks across bids and projects
* Assist in the preparation of quotes, cost estimates, and supplier pricing
* Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers to gather technical and commercial information
* Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including scopes of work and specifications
* Maintain accurate records of project data, pricing, and documentation
* Participate in project meetings and support communication across project teams
* Participate in ongoing training, vendor certifications, and site visits as part of your development pathway
About You
To join our team, you will have a strong interest in technology and a desire to build a career in the Audio-Visual Industry. Additionally, you will possess;
* Qualification in Audio Engineering, Lighting or Video Technology or similar is desirable but not essential
* Exposure to or interest in areas such as audio engineering, video technology, or systems integration
* Current defense clearance is advantageous but not essential
* A passion to provide and execute high‐quality work at all times
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
