What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you'll provide support across the accounts function, helping to ensure financial processes run smoothly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
* Preparing and issuing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
* Processing supplier invoices and assisting with payment runs
* Applying and allocating customer payments
* Assisting with collections and customer follow-ups
* Completing project financial reconciliations
* Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations
* Supporting month-end processes
* Providing general administrative support to the Finance team as required
This role offers exposure to multiple areas of finance and the opportunity to grow your capability across the full accounts function.
Who we're looking for
You're organised, reliable, and enjoy working with numbers and systems. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and take pride in accuracy. You'll bring:
* At least 2 years' experience in an Accounts, Finance Administration, or similar role
* A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
* Experience using MYOB and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
* Experience with Ostendo (or willingness to learn – training provided)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Consistent, reliable, and professional attendance
