Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Registrar Opportunity
We are seeking an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Registrar to join our dynamic team in Canberra. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the busiest obstetrics and gynaecology departments in the country.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Registrar to work in a tertiary teaching hospital with a strong focus on education and training. The department sees approximately 1900 deliveries per year and has multiple gynaecology theatre sessions each week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the after-hours and on-call roster, assisting with the supervision and training of junior medical staff, nursing and midwifery staff, and supporting acute admissions, inpatient care, outpatient clinics, inter-disciplinary consults, and clinical handover.

Eligibility:
* General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain
* IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam)
* IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
* IMG's assessed by RANZCOG College as partially or substantially comparable (doctors currently interviewing with RANZCOG may express their interest)
* IMG's interested in foreign training via the Short Term training specialist pathway (STT)
* Have experience working as an O&G Registrar
