The Position
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert responsible for the performance and reliability of LV electrical infrastructure across the network. This is not a pure design role - it combines design, commissioning, and hands‐on troubleshooting, supporting both project delivery and live operational environments.
Duties include
* Act as the SME and escalation point, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis across critical electrical systems
* Support operations, commissioning, and outages, working closely with field teams
* Contribute to designs, standards, and contractor management, while mentoring engineers
Skills & experience required
* Degree in Electrical Engineering with strong LV systems knowledge and familiarity with AS/NZS 3000
* Proven experience across critical power systems (UPS, generators, ATS, switchboards & control systems)
* Strong hands‐on troubleshooting & fault‐finding with exposure across the full project lifecycle
* Background in critical infrastructure environments (e.g. utilities, telecoms, data centres, industrial)
* RPEQ/Chartered (or working towards) and/or trade background highly regarded
