Overview
An opportunity now exists for an accomplished Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join SAHMRI's executive leadership team during a significant period of organisational transformation and strategic change. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the COO will provide organisation‐wide operational leadership ensuring SAHMRI's enabling functions and infrastructure effectively support the Institute's research, workforce and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
The COO will provide senior operational leadership across SAHMRI's enabling and operational functions, working closely with leaders across ICT, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Quality, Safety and Risk, Marketing and Philanthropy, Research and Facility Services.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a contemporary and commercially astute executive leader with demonstrated experience operating within a complex, purpose-driven environment. You will bring strong strategic, operational and stakeholder leadership capability, together with the ability to lead organisational change, influence outcomes and foster collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience leading broad operational portfolios within health, research, education, government or similarly complex sectors will be highly regarded.
