Prioritizing Client Comfort and Safety:
* Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting while respecting their dignity and privacy.
* Help clients move around safely using appropriate equipment such as walkers or canes.
* Perform household tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a hygienic living environment.
* Engage clients in social activities and conversations to prevent feelings of loneliness and isolation.
* Provide empathetic care to alleviate anxiety and promote mental well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to senior care.
* Effective communication skills to interact with clients, family members, and colleagues.
* Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality in handling client information.
* The physical capability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks.
* Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is highly desirable.
* Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification is essential.
* A Police Check is mandatory for this position.
