We're seeking a Technical Lead with demonstrable enterprise delivery experience across one or more of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. You'll play a key role in uplifting delivery quality, ensuring adherence to standards, and enabling predictable sprint outcomes to support strategic objectives, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering a sustainable, future-ready platform for the department. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and works as part of an internal team, partnering closely with project architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
You will provide technical assurance by reviewing code and configuration changes prior to deployment into downstream environments, confirming that pull requests and defect fixes align with agreed standards and the definition of done. This includes validating that security, resilience, performance, user experience, accessibility, documentation, and long-term financial sustainability are built into every change.
Duties of the role:
* Apply and champion agreed standards across naming, coding, architecture alignment, security and privacy, resilience and operational readiness, user experience and accessibility, documentation, and financial sustainability.
* Coordinate with project architects to provide regular feedback on standards adherence, recurring issues, and opportunities to strengthen or clarify standards.
* Review and approve/reject developer pull requests to confirm acceptance criteria and definition of done are met, solution design and architectural intent are followed, code quality and test coverage are appropriate,
* Validate resolution of technical defects, ensuring the underlying cause is addressed, the fix is tested, and the change is ready to merge and release before the defect is closed.
* Maintain and improve quality controls across pull request reviews, branching and merging, release readiness, and CI/CD quality gates. Agile delivery facilitation and team
* Provide agile delivery facilitation by leading sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews/demos, retrospectives, backlog grooming),
* Assist in managing the overall project backlog and maintaining a healthy pipeline of ready work.
* Ensure work items are clearly defined with acceptance criteria, technical notes, and traceability to releases.
Skills and experience:
* Demonstrable enterprise experience delivering solutions with one or more of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/Power Platform, Azure integration services, and Microsoft Fabric data and reporting services.
* Strong hands-on capability in solution quality assurance for low-code and pro-code components, including reviewing solution packaging and deployment impacts.
* Experience in one or more of the following is required: Dynamics 365/Power Platform, Azure or Fabric.
* Strong capability in pull request reviews, defect triage/verification, and release readiness checks.
* Previous experience with C#/.NET, SQL.
