ABOUT THE POSITION.
This position is responsible for overseeing and leading a team of hydraulic & fire engineers, ensuring high-quality project delivery and technical excellence. You will provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and support to the team. A key component of the role involves maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication, responsive service, and continued trust in the consultancy's capability. This is a leadership opportunity within a respected engineering practice, contributing to the success of diverse, high-profile projects.
DUTIES.
* Lead the detailed design and documentation of hydraulic and fire protection systems
* Manage day-to-day engineering assignments to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
* Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and professional support
* Maintain strong client relationships, while identifying opportunities for business growth
* Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
* Diploma in Hydraulic Services or equivalent
* Design Building Practitioner accreditation
* Effective project management skills, excellent communication and strong leadership skills
* Extensive building services project experience across a diverse portfolio
