About the Role
As a TRA Assessor – Radio, Electronics & Electrical Trades, you'll assess candidates in areas such as:
* Designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic and electrical systems
* Working with radio communications and instrumentation equipment
* Ensuring compliance with industry safety and licensing standards
This is a contract role with flexibility, designed for professionals who want to contribute their knowledge without stepping away from the trade.
Qualifications:
* Certificate III/IV in Electronics and Communications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* State-recognised electrical licence (where applicable)
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or successor)
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years in electronics, electrical engineering, or radio communication services
* Hands-on skills in diagnostics, circuit analysis, soldering, calibration, and safety compliance
* Familiarity with automation, control systems, and RF communication systems
Mandatory:
* TRA approval for each occupation covered
* Current industry engagement evidence
* National Police Check
Preferred (not essential):
* Working With Children Check
* Valid Driver's Licence
