Job Role:
The Intensive Family Preservation Caseworker will work with families at risk of entering the child protection system, providing intensive support to help them build resilience and develop parenting skills.
To achieve this, they will conduct thorough assessments, provide home visiting support, and collaborate with families to create tailored case plans. The successful candidate will also facilitate connections to community services and long-term support where necessary.
Families who benefit from this service include those experiencing challenges such as substance abuse, domestic violence, or mental health issues. Our team is dedicated to empowering these families by offering a safe and supportive environment for growth and development.
A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role. In addition, candidates should possess experience working with children and families, along with strong relationship-building skills.
