Compliance Officer
The key responsibility of this role is to administer compliance in planning and development, building, plumbing, and stormwater drainage matters.
* This involves ensuring safety, sustainability, and alignment with community standards.
* Demonstrated experience in a regulatory related field, with thorough knowledge of relevant Acts, regulations, codes, and schemes that regulate the development compliance industry.
Strong communication skills are required to facilitate clear communications with internal and external stakeholders. Conflict-management skills and commitment to Council's Safe Work procedures are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
* Administer compliance in planning and development, building, plumbing, and stormwater drainage matters.
* Identify, investigate, report on, and take action to rectify substantiated breaches of legislation.
* Research, interpret, and apply legislation, making decisions concerning enforcement action.
* Complete and maintain detailed and factual inspection reports, correspondence, and file notes.
* Utilise Council's technology and software systems to document, track, and manage compliance cases.
