**Our position**
The Hotel Services Manager position is responsible for ensuring professional catering services are delivered to our incredible residents.
Duties will include:
- Ensure NoosaCare is compliant with all food safety requirements, including the management of incidents and audits as necessary.
- Operate with autonomy and accountability in the delivery of high-quality catering services.
- Be responsible for compliance and conduct audits against the applicable standards and requirements, including the Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Provide appropriate leadership, supervision, and support to the catering services team.
- Implementing and embedding new processes and systems.
- Ensure all employees comply with health and safety requirements and incidents reported and managed.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, including information sourced from residents, their representatives, employees, and management.
- Work with the broader NoosaCare team to ensure all resident catering requirements are exceeded, including dietary and health requirements.
- Supervise rostering provisions for employees to ensure that resident catering requirements are maintained.
- Support the appropriate management of residents, families and staff feedback and complaints and delivering continuous quality improvements.
- Oversee the operation of two internal café's.
- Support the design and development of menus which meet resident nutritional requirements and provide residents with variety and choice of meal options.
- Lead the development and foster innovation within the catering department aimed at improving a resident's food and dining experience.
- In collaboration with the CFO, develop and deliver services against designated budgets.
- Support the management of efficient stock control and purchasing in line with the catering department's approved budget and purchasing policy.
- Lead the development of internal and external reports as necessary.

- Experience in leading and supervising employees' and delivering against legislative requirements.
- Ability in the procurement of high quality and cost-efficient resources and negotiating with suppliers as required.
- Experience in the collaboration of developing, implementing, and managing program budgets.
- Ability and experience in managing and responding to evolving situations.
- Experience in supervising employee rostering provisions to ensure coverage across all required areas.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to plan for the future.
- Maintaining and working within all work health and safety legislation.
- Experience working with a diverse demographic.
- Have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic and a drive to ensure quality service provision to residents.
- Strong customer service, face to face and written communication skills.
- A confidence that will enable you to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (desirable but not essential)
- Driver's license
- A minimum of 5 years' experience operating in a large kitchen environment.
- Minimum of 5 years management and/or senior leader experience
- Clear criminal history check, renewed every 3 years
- A passion for community and the elderly.
